Patrick is a countertenor, harpist, teacher, lecturer and conductor.
He began conducting when he was Organ Scholar at Cambridge, where he founded Aurora Nova, the first all-female professional choir to lead the Sunday services in St Paul's Cathedral.
He has guest conducted The Cardinall's Musick, City of London Sinfonia and the Tallis Scholars, and has directed performances at the Proms, and Aldeburgh, Lichfield and Brighton Festivals.
He has taught and directed singing workshops and courses across Europe, and now regularly lectures for the Arts Society.
